The GivEnergy 3.0kW ac-coupled single-phase inverter can be used to add battery storage to a household. This scalable system works with retrofit, new solar projects, homes using wind or hydro power and standalone battery systems with no renewables.

The compact and lightweight inverters are (HxWxD) 260 x 480 x 223mm and weigh 22.4kg. The units are IP65-rated and backed by a 12-year warranty. 

Wi-fi comes as standard giving access to the GivEnergy monitoring platform along with remote site-specific firmware upgrades and troubleshooting via web browser or app. The inverters work with split rate energy tariffs allowing the battery to charge from surplus PV generation and from the grid during off-peak periods then discharge during peak periods to maximise energy savings.
